Carlson Real Estate Company Announces Over 41,000 SF of New Leases Signed in the Charlotte Market
November 7, 2007—Charlotte, North Carolina—
Carlson Real Estate Company recently finalized several significant lease transactions at CLT Logistics Center and South Point Business Park.

Bryan Crutcher and Anne Johnson of CB Richard Ellis represented Carlson Real Estate Company on the following two lease transactions at CLT Logistics Center.

GC&E Systems Group, Inc. represented by Don Beck of Beck Commercial, has leased 6,861 square feet at 3400 International Airport Drive. GC&E specializes in security, communications and electrical services for all types of commercial, industrial and military projects. It is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and has many locations throughout the United States.

Also new to CLT Logistics Center is Fountainhead Stoneworks, LLC. Fountainhead Stoneworks has leased 8,494 square feet at 3300 International Airport Drive. Represented by Tim Robertson of CB Richard Ellis, Fountainhead Stoneworks manufactures architectural cast stone and garden ornaments for residential and commercial building applications.

Keith Bell and John Cashion of Colliers Pinkard represented Carlson Real Estate Company on the following five lease transactions at South Point Business Park.

Modular Flooring Technologies, Inc., which specializes in the installation, maintenance, and replacement of modular flooring systems, has leased 6,954 square feet at 14201 South Lakes Drive. Robert McGriff of Staubach represented Modular Flooring Technologies, Inc.

Simatec Inc. an independent family-owned enterprise that develops and produces components involved with fitting, dismounting and the maintenance of bearings has leased 3,438 square feet at 13900 South Lakes Drive. Simatec is headquartered in Switzerland and has been in business for over 20 years.

Castine Energy Construction, Inc. has leased 4,778 square feet at 13900 South Lakes Drive. Castine is an engineering and construction firm that provides both technical services and support services to industrial projects throughout North America.

Also new to South Point Business Park is WTO, Inc. WTO, which specializes in the design and manufacturing of driven precision tools and precision tool holders, has leased 5,770 square feet at 14201 South Lakes Drive.

And finally, 10,882 square feet was leased by Carolina Mailboxes, Inc. at 14201 South Lakes Drive.
Represented by Josh Beaver of the Nichols Company, Carolina Mailboxes specializes in commercial and residential mailboxes, street signs, and lighting.
