Carlson Real Estate Company Earns Third National
“A List” Award
March 21, 2007— Minnetonka, MN—Carlson Real Estate Company is proud to announce that for
2006 it has once again been awarded the prestigious National Commercial Real Estate Customer
Service Award for Excellence – Category IV. Known as the "A List" Award, it recognizes quality of
service that is considered to be the best in the industry.

Each year CEL & Associates, Inc. compiles customer satisfaction survey data from thousands of
tenants in buildings and communities throughout the United States in an effort to determine which
real estate organizations and properties are indeed the Best In The Industry. CEL & Associates,
Inc.'s National Real Estate "A List" Awards For Service Excellence are awarded to those who truly
provide a superior level of service. Hundreds of real estate companies participate annually, and only
a select few are awarded the coveted National Real Estate Award.

National Awards can be earned not only at the company level, but also at the individual property
level. In 2006 Carlson Real Estate saw 11 of its properties so honored. According to Kelley
Calderon, VP, Survey Services for CEL & Associates, “Carlson Real Estate Company has properties
with tenant satisfaction scores among the highest in the nation.” The properties earning “A List”
designation for 2006 were 301 & 401 Carlson Parkway, Carlson Center East I and II, One Carlson
Parkway, Plaza Seven tower, Two Carlson Parkway, and Carlson Business Center in the Twin Cities,
and Cotton Corporate Center Office & Flex, and Warner Business Center in greater Phoenix, Arizona.

NOTE: In 2001 and 2004 there were five total categories based on portfolio size. In 2006 there were four categories. Category I = portfolios of 100 or more properties, Category II = 60-99, Category III = 15-59, and Category IV = 15 or fewer.
